General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Article 1 – Identification
Le Beau Moulin SAS is the official trade name of the establishment located at 1471 Rue Le Beau Moulin in Trévières (14710), France; hereinafter referred to as “the Owner.”
Any reservation made with Le Beau Moulin SAS is subject to these general terms and conditions of sale.
Article 2 – Presence of Water and Safety
Due to the nature of the property, a former mill, there are bodies of water on the premises (river, millrace, marshes, and hydraulic systems). The Owner cannot be held responsible for any accidents occurring in connection with these areas. Caution is strongly advised, especially in the exceptional presence of a child, who must always be under the constant supervision of an adult.
Article 3 – Reservation
Reservations made through the website lebeaumoulin.fr constitute booking requests. Final confirmation is subject to manual validation by our team. Once the request is accepted, the Client will receive a confirmation email. No reservation is considered final without this confirmation email.
Any change to the date or room must be submitted for the Owner’s approval. Approval will be granted based on availability at the time of the request and may, where applicable, result in additional fees.
Financial transactions made on our website are handled by an external payment provider (Stripe). Consequently, your credit card payment is processed directly on the bank’s secure server, and at no time will your credit card number be disclosed to the Owner.
Article 4 – Cancellation
— If the cancellation occurs more than 15 days before the start date of the stay, no amount will be charged.
— If the cancellation occurs between 15 days and 5 days before the start date of the stay, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.
— If the cancellation occurs less than 5 days before the start date of the stay, in case of no-show or early departure, the total booking amount will be charged.
Prepayment or full charge of the amount may be made at any time after the booking confirmation.
Article 5 – Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM. If you plan to arrive outside these hours, please inform us in advance so that we can arrange your arrival.
Check-out must be completed before 11:00 AM. However, depending on availability, a late check-out may be possible. Please inform us of your constraints so we can accommodate them as best as possible.
Article 6 – Pricing
The displayed price is per room per night for two adults and includes breakfast.
The Owner cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from the consumption of food by a Client suffering from allergies or intolerances. It is the Client’s responsibility to check the nature of the served products and inform the Owner of any allergies at the time of booking or upon arrival at the Moulin.
Article 7 – Damage and Loss of Property
— Any damage observed in the rooms or to the provided equipment (including but not limited to bedding, furniture, and appliances) will be charged to the Client.
— In case of deterioration or disappearance of objects such as towels, bathrobes, or other equipment, their value will be deducted from the credit card used for the security deposit.
Article 8 – Civil Liability
The Owner disclaims all responsibility in the event of an accident, damage, or loss resulting from carelessness or improper use of the provided equipment, as well as any incidents occurring in the outdoor areas of the property.
Article 9 – Respect for the Premises and Tranquility
The Client must respect the tranquility of the premises and other guests. Smoking is prohibited inside, in the rooms, and in common areas. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Any behavior deemed inappropriate may result in immediate expulsion without refund.
Article 10 – Personal Data
The information collected as part of reservations is intended for internal use only and will never be shared with third parties, in accordance with the applicable regulations on personal data protection (Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978).
Article 11 – Disputes
In the event of a dispute, the competent court will be the Commercial Court of Caen. These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law.
Article 12 – Changes to these Terms and Conditions
The Owner reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions of sale if necessary for the proper operation of the establishment.
